Clunking, Squeaking or Popping
You hear a noise when driving over bumps, entering a driveway, turning the steering wheel or changing direction.
Backed by automotive experience since 2017, we come to your vehicle to diagnose suspension noises, steering looseness, uneven tire wear and handling concerns. The applicable diagnostic service call price is confirmed before the appointment, and no repair work begins without your approval.
Many control arm, ball joint, tie rod, sway-bar link, shock and strut repairs can be completed at your location when access and repair requirements allow.
Suspension and steering problems can change how the vehicle sounds, rides and responds to driver input. Similar symptoms may come from different components, so the vehicle should be inspected before parts are recommended.
You hear a noise when driving over bumps, entering a driveway, turning the steering wheel or changing direction.
The steering feels vague, requires frequent correction or allows the vehicle to move around in its lane.
The vehicle pulls to one side, changes direction unexpectedly or feels less stable during braking, turning or highway driving.
The vehicle reacts harshly to road imperfections, continues bouncing after a bump or feels different from how it normally rides.
One or more tires are wearing unevenly, which may indicate a suspension, steering, tire or wheel-related problem.
A shock or strut appears to be leaking, a component looks damaged, or one corner of the vehicle sits lower than the others.
We begin with the reported symptoms and inspect the suspension and steering components connected to the concern. The exact inspection and repair plan depends on the vehicle design, its condition and what the initial checks reveal.
Ball joints, control arms, bushings, boots and mounting points are checked for looseness, deterioration, damage and abnormal movement.
Inner and outer tie rods, steering joints and related linkage are checked for play, damaged boots and movement that can affect steering response.
Shocks, struts, springs and upper mounts are inspected for leaks, physical damage, broken components and loss of damping control.
Sway-bar links, bushings, brackets and mounting points are checked for looseness, wear and damage that may contribute to clunking or excessive body movement.
Steering-rack mounting, visible rack condition, assist operation and related connections are checked when the reported problem involves steering effort, noise or excessive play.
Suspension mounting points, subframe mounts, fasteners, ride height and visible impact or corrosion damage are checked where relevant to the reported condition.
When a failed component is identified, we explain the findings and provide the repair price before work begins. Repair feasibility is confirmed based on access, component condition and the equipment required.
We confirm when the noise, looseness or handling problem occurs, whether it changes during braking or turning, and whether any related parts were recently replaced.
We inspect the components related to the concern and check for play, wear, damage, leaks and loose mounting points. A road test is performed when it is safe and useful for confirming the symptom.
We show or explain what was found, identify the recommended repair and provide the price before any repair work begins.
After the repair is approved, we replace or correct the failed components, recheck the affected area and verify the result. When appropriate and safe, verification includes a road test.
If the cause of the problem is not yet known, we can inspect and diagnose the vehicle at its location. If you already have a diagnosis, a dealership estimate or a specific repair or suspension upgrade in mind, send us the details and we can review the requested work for an estimate.

Send us the vehicle year, make, model and VIN, along with the requested repair or upgrade. Include any dealership estimate, inspection report, photos or part numbers you already have.
We can review requests for control-arm and thrust-arm replacement, shocks and struts, coilover installation, suspension lift kits and other suspension repair or performance upgrades. If the scope can be confirmed from the information provided, we’ll prepare an estimate. If an inspection is needed first, we’ll let you know before scheduling.

Absolutely amazing! Alternator died on me Alex had the part in a day and came out and replaced it. But, that is not the greatest part at all. Alex noticed alot of play in my steering wheel and became concerned and asked about it. I let him know it happened after a transmission replacement from a shop in Washington I won't name here. For a little extra charge he got under the car and got the steering safe again making the car feel so much more controllable and comfortable to drive. Alex went above and beyond and is absolutely amazing and worth the price. I would recommend him to anyone in the Portland and Vancouver area. I will be calling him for replacing my brakes when I build up a little more money for it. Faith 100% restored in mechanics thanks to Alex!!!!
Alex came out to my house and met with my fiancée to take a look at my car. He found the source of multiple issues in my car and fixed them over night! Such great work for such a great price! I will recommend him to anyone who needs a mobile diagnosis and quick and efficient repair, he really knows his stuff and does great, professional work! My ca is running so great now :)
Alex was SO prompt and responsive!!! His prices are so reasonable and he’s VERY comprehensive in his evaluation and feedback about the needs!!! I will definitely come back to Alex again for my car needs!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Many suspension and steering repairs can be completed at your home or workplace when the vehicle can be lifted and supported safely and there is adequate working space. Feasibility depends on the vehicle design, component condition, corrosion, access and required equipment. If a different service arrangement is necessary, we’ll explain it before the repair proceeds.
We review requests for lift kits, coilovers, shocks, struts, springs and related suspension upgrades. Send the vehicle year, make, model and VIN, along with the desired result and any kit or part numbers you are considering. We verify the application and installation requirements before preparing an estimate. Some modified-vehicle requests may require an inspection before the final scope can be confirmed.
Often, yes. Send us the vehicle information, VIN and the complete estimate or inspection report. We can prepare an estimate when the requested work and vehicle configuration can be verified from the information provided. If our own inspection is needed before confirming the repair scope, we’ll let you know.
It depends on the vehicle design, parts availability and condition of the complete assembly. Some ball joints and bushings are serviced separately, while other applications use a complete control-arm assembly. We recommend the appropriate repair after inspecting the affected components.
Customer-supplied parts may be installed after fitment and condition are confirmed. Customer-supplied parts do not receive a parts warranty. The applicable warranty status and any installation-only limitations are documented on the Repair Order before work begins.
That depends on the cause and severity. Some suspension noises do not indicate an immediate loss of vehicle control, while looseness in a ball joint, tie-rod end or another steering connection can become a serious safety concern. The vehicle should be inspected before anyone determines that it is safe to continue driving. If the steering response has changed significantly or the vehicle is difficult to keep in its lane, do not continue driving.
Some suspension and steering repairs require a wheel alignment afterward. If an alignment is recommended based on the repair performed, we’ll let you know. Lubomiroff Performance does not provide wheel alignment service.
Send your vehicle year, make, model, VIN and location, along with a description of the symptoms or the repair or upgrade you are requesting. If you have a dealership estimate, inspection report, photos or part numbers, include them with your request. We’ll review the information and confirm the appropriate next step.
If the vehicle requires a repair that cannot be completed at its location, we handle the repair at our shop. We arrange pickup and return the vehicle after the repair is completed and verified.
